Invents Introduces Fold Away Electronic Crutches …

… that provide easy navigation and optimal support by eliminating underarm discomfort.

HOUSTON, TX—Injuries sustained by many of the victims in the Boston Marathon bombing inspired these new crutches. The Fold Away Electronic Crutches is a line of technologically advanced crutches that are foldable; facilitate optimal comfort and freedom of movement; and offer electronic height adjustability at the push of a button. Equipped with replaceable, extremely soft, cushiony armrests as well as 360° rotation rollers at the bottom of each crutch, the design provides a far better alternative to standard crutches, which can get in the way when stored, as well as hinder mobility and cause unnecessary pain.

These crutches are similar in construction to standard aluminum type but enhanced with special features. Besides the special padding, there is a multifaceted push button mechanism which allows the crutches to be raised and lowered to accommodate the comfort level and height of the user. This button also allows each crutch to compact into a fraction of its size making it easy to collapse when necessary. A storage bag is included. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Fold Away Electronic Crutches.

The Patent Pending Fold Away Electronic Crutches were invented by Mercy Richard of Houston, TX who said “These are far easier to use than traditional crutches because the soft silicone padding used in the arm rests adjusts comfortably beneath the user’s armpit. They are available in different colors and designs and will be well received by the millions of consumers who face mobility challenges or suffer broken or fractured bones.”
