Invents Introduces Clam Down Shell Down…

… no stones or driftwood needed to weight down towel or blanket when using this at the beach.

MORRISVILLE, PA—Beach time can be fun but it also can be horrendous when the wind wipes the towels and blankets around scattering the contents. That will not happen when one is using Clam Down Shell Down special decorate weights that clamp over each corner of the beach blanket or towel.  The design intent of Clam Down Shell Down is to provide people who enjoy a day at the beach and other outdoor activities with a simple means of securely anchoring a blanket or towel and ensure it remains flat on the ground regardless of the amount of wind.

The Clam Down, Shell Down is a unique way to keep a beach blanket or a towel precisely where it is to stay.  It is a good looking weighted clam shell that comes in different colors and yet looks like it belongs on the ground.  It has rubber coated material and softly rounded surface with the ability to be filled with either sand or water adding to the weight.  Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Clam Down Shell Down.

The Patent Pending Clam Down, Shell Down was invented by Jeanine Smith of Morrisville, PA who said, “Placing a blanket, sheet or towel down on the ground when outside in typical ‘beach’ conditions mean one had best be on the alert to avoid the wind whipping it away along with all the books, treats, etc. residing on it. The Clam Down, Shell Down are anchoring devices providing secure contact and eliminate the need to clutter the blanket and take up space to weigh it down with drinks, books shoes and other items. It works perfectly.”
