Invents Unveils The Leg Buddy ...

… enhances the lives of those who need a leg or two up, whether for medical reasons or for comfort.

JERSEY CITY, NJ—The ability to easily move an item almost always means it is “portable” and thus lightweight and collapsible. Keeping one in the best of health often means a way to elevate the legs and feet due to surgery, weight, diabetes, and numerous other reasons. Seniors often feel the need to keep their legs and feet raised during the day and the Leg Buddy answers that need. Not only does the Leg Buddy solve these problems for the elderly but it works for all adults, whether at home, in the workplace or while traveling. It is a portable, lightweight and collapsible leg rest comprised of telescoping legs with an inflatable 1½” thick top cushion inflated (via a CO2 cartridge). The design intent is to provide a comfortable way to elevate the legs for comfort or to relieve swelling or pain and pressure, any time, anywhere. It is specially designed for consumers on-the-go and can be swiftly set up and used practically anywhere whether at home, at work or when traveling.
 
The telescopic legs of the Leg Buddy fold in towards the center and “under” the inflatable foot rest and are each pressed down into a cavity designed to hold it securely in place. There is an opening allowing for the CO2 cartridge to be inserted in the very center of the support system. Televised test marketing hasrecently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Leg Buddy.
 
The Patented Leg Buddy was invented by Carol Alexander, a Registered Nurse, of Jersey City, NJ who said, “I have a prototype and it works exceptionally well. One can elevate the legs for comfort and relief of pressure due to pain, swelling or other medical conditions resulting from injury or when recovering from surgery. It is easy to put together and break down. I designed this while working in an assisted living facility. It works!”
