Invents Unveils The Speed Cone …

…  improves cyclist speed with clear visual and less drag.

HESPERIA. CA—Attention cycling enthusiasts. Picture yourself speeding along with a totally clear view and no drag! May sound impossible but it is not. The Speed Cone is an aerodynamic, transparent cone-shaped “windshield” for bicycles, especially road bikes. By simply leaning forward such that one’s head is within the transparent fog-free cone, the conical shape of the Speed Cone serves to reduce drag and move the cyclist more gently and easily though the air. This permits the rider to move faster with less effort and—that is the very definition of cycling efficiency.

The Speed Cone is cone shaped and aerodynamic as well as transparent. It is designed to dramatically reduce the drag of the body of the cyclist and increase efficiency allowing the rider with the ability to go farther or faster with no increase in energy input. The Speed Cone is mounted on the handle bars via two sturdy fasteners with the bottom side extending horizontally out over the front wheel of the bike so the cone—tip forward—forms a highly aerodynamic windshield. Due to this, the cyclist simply needs to lean forward so his/her head is within the transparent, fog-free cone. This is the area where speed and decreasing drag occur and allows the cyclist full visual and full steam straight ahead. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Speed Cone.

The Patent Pending Speed Cone was invented by Gip Noble, Jr. of Hesperia, CA who said, “Every cyclist likes to go faster with less effort. The Speed Cone makes this possible and is good for cyclists of all ages. Better yet, champion cyclists can train in a higher gear which helps build strength and stamina by overcoming the laws of physics that exist without the use of the Speed Cone. It works perfectly.”
