Invents Unveils The Lip Read Prevention Screen …

… keeps onlookers from reading words issued from one’s mouth.

SAN BERNARDINO, CA—Time and again spectators watch the TV during competitive football games to try and figure out what a coach might be telling his players. The Lip Read Prevention Screen is a specially designed and protective guard which is easily applied to the microphone mouthpiece of a headset. The design intent is to provide coaches with a hands-free practical manner to communicate information to other members of their staff and team—while preventing members of the opposing team from “reading” lips as the information is being relayed. The Lip Read Prevention Screen can also be employed by law enforcement personnel and other professionals when relaying sensitive information. And, imagine the collectability opportunity associated with the Lip Read Prevention Screen. It is worn on national TV by famous people during huge events, and then autographed. Imagine how sought after this would become.

The product, made of lightweight and weather resistant materials, is an oval shape that covers the front of a headset’s microphone stem. As such, when properly applied the device serves as a shield and obstructs the microphone and the user’s mouth from view keeping others (lip-readers) from being able to interpret what is being discussed. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Lip Read Prevention Screen.

The Patent Pending Lip Read Prevention Screen was invented by Brent Anderson of San Bernardino, CA who said, “This shield is an important protective device and should be considered mandatory for those in competitive sports or others industries where it is vital that no one else understands what might be said via reading the lips of the speaker.  It allows the user to convey tactical information via a headset to others without risking this information being breached by nefarious individuals. It works perfectly.”
