The Strap Roller

Serves the needs of all types of truckers with ease.

ESCONDIDO, CA—Attention Truckers—The new Strap Roller is designed and made just for you! The Strap Roller is a hand-operated reel designed for use with the cargo straps that truckers employ to secure their loads. The Strap Roller makes the retrieval and stowing of cargo straps a quicker and simpler operation and will find a ready market amongst the nation's short and long haul truckers. It consists of two components. One is a hand-crank (or handle), one of which is the reel or drum on which the cargo strap is to be wound, and the other is the frame or housing in which the handle and drum are seated. Additional design features enable a wire to act as a guide in keeping the cargo strap aligned to the drum as it is cranked in.

Using the Strap Roller is both simple and straightforward. When the trucker has finished unloading and ready to wind up the 4 inch strapping belts, he or she simply mounts the Strap Roller to one side of the flatbed and takes the free end of a cargo strap and secures it to the take-up drum with the wire and winds the strap onto the drum with the hand-crank. Televised test marketing has been completed indicating exceptional consumer interest in the Strap Roller.

The Patent Pending Strap Roller was invented by Juan Gamboa and Jose Felix Ruelas of Escondido, CA who said, “The Strap Roller meets the need of the numerous truckers on the road to today. It is a labor saving device, thus a money saver too. The Strap Roller works well in the United States but will work just as well all over the globe.”
