The Sponge Glove is a rubber glove and cleaning sponge, conveniently combined into one specially designed unit. The design intent of the Sponge Glove is to provide consumers with a cleaning accessory that effectively scrubs away dirt while protecting the skin from contaminants.
Features & Benefits
Made of pliable yet durable and water-resistant rubber material, the Sponge Glove would be shaped as a normal glove and thus would feature individual sections for the thumb and fingers, with the base of the glove extending to just below the wrist. A stretchy elastic banding would expand the perimeter of the glove, thus affording an impenetrable seal that prevents water or cleaning agents from dripping into the gloves during wear. The Sponge Glove could be made available in a one-size-fits-all configuration or offered in a range of sizes to accommodate male and female consumers alike. Unique to this product and what sets it apart from standard rubber gloves is found in its sponge component. Covering the individual fingers and palm of the glove, this scrubbing facet would be fabricated of the same absorbent, foam rubber material typical to standard cleaning sponges. When the fingers are closed together, the fingertip sponges would be positioned side by side to form a large, cohesive unit, while spreading the fingers would provide five, precision cleaning instruments with which to scrub hard to reach areas, crevices and niches. As mentioned, an additional scrubbing sponge would be incorporated into the palm of the glove. Further, an abrasive scouring pad manufactured of a stiff fiber or comparable semi-abrasive material would encompass the back of the glove and would be designed to accommodate tougher cleaning jobs. The Sponge Glove would be offered in sets of two, one glove to cover each hand and sold in packages containing two pairs of gloves. As an additional consideration, the Sponge Glove could be offered in a wide array of eye-catching colors to appeal to individual tastes.About this page
