Invents Introduces The Pace Maker App ...

uses bluetooth type technology to send data to health care provider.

ELMWOOD PARK, NJ—All cardiac patients recognize the benefits of a pacemaker. For those not familiar with the term, a pacemaker is an implanted medical device that uses electrical impulses, delivered by electrodes contracting the heart muscle, in order to regulate the beating of the heart. Modern day pacemakers are externally programmable and allow the cardiologist to select optimum pacing modes for individual patients. The Pace Maker App for smart-phones, tablets and laptop computers will wirelessly gather and store data from an individual’s heart pacemaker and transmit this information to their cardiologist on a specified regular schedule.

The basic advantage of the Pace Maker App is that it functions automatically both in the recording and transmission of this vital medical data and does away with the need for special phones to call the information in from home. It is a software application designed to wirelessly gather, store and transmit directly to the care-provider. Once it is installed it functions atomically and continuously through a wireless connection to the pacemaker; the application set-up process requiring only that the individual specify the days and times for transmission of the data and the email address or phone numbers of the recipients. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating exceptional consumer interest in the Pace Maker App.

The Patent Pending Pace Maker App was invented by Anthony P. DeCondo, Jr. of Elmwood Park, NJ who said, “This negates the need for a pacemaker patient to spend continuous visits to the cardiologist. The Pace Maker App can be configured to transmit data on any schedule and at any time the health-care provider specifies. As such, it offers flexibility for both the patient and the cardiologist.”
