The Canvas Bag Insert

Fits and firms up interior canvas sides of grocery bag.

PISCATAWAY, NJ—Going green in today's world is something that everyone wants to attain and sometimes a simple way to start the process is as easy as using cloth bags when grocery shopping and thus saving landfill from the millions and millions of plastic bags. The only problem is it can be difficult to 'load' a cloth bag. That will not be the case when using the new Canvas Bag Insert. This is a folding cardboard insert designed to hold a canvas shopping bag open and upright for easier loading and more convenient to use. It is a simple and inexpensive product which benefits the consumer and the cashier.

The Canvas Bag Insert will be fabricated in either cardboard or a lightweight injection-molded thermopolymer and designed to fit into the bottom and side and create an internal skeleton so to speak or a frame. It holds the bag upright and yet when folded the shopping collapses for easy storage. It can withstand years of repeated use or can be disposable if using the limited use recyclable insert. The insert is affordable and pays for itself from the very first use.

The Patent Pending Canvas Bag Insert was invented by John Simons of Piscataway, NJ who said, “This insert is a time saver for every user loading it with groceries as well as when unpacking it in the kitchen. There are numerous types of canvas bags available and many are for sale right in the store. As a matter of fact many retailers are now crediting the consumer with a sum for using their own bags. This works and will save the plastic in the landfills.”
